Bad Boy Records has unveiled details of the eagerly anticipated debut album from Danity Kane, the red-hot girl group featured on the hit MTV series, Making the Band 3. The self-titled collection - which features the first single, ‘Show Stopper’ - lands in stores nationwide on August 22nd.

Executive Produced by Bad Boy CEO Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs, DANITY KANE sees the five-girl outfit - Dawn, Aubrey, D. Woods, Shannon, and Aundrea - teaming up with some of todayÂ’s most successful and talented producers. Among the studio superstars bringing their skills to the recordings are such hip-hop and R&B icons as Timbaland (Missy Elliott, Nelly Furtado, Aaliyah), Rodney “Darkchild” Jerkins (Mary J. Blige, Mariah Carey), Mario Winans (P. Diddy & the Bad Boy Family, DestinyÂ’s Child, The Notorious B.I.G.), Jim Jonsin (Twista, Jamie Foxx, Trina), Bryan-Michael Cox (Usher, Mariah Carey, Toni Braxton), Rami (*NSYNC, the Veronicas), and Ryan Leslie (Britney Spears, Tha Dogg Pound). The albumÂ’s Co-Executive Producer is Bad Boy Executive Vice President Harve Pierre.

‘Show Stopper,’ the Jim Jonsin-produced first single from DANITY KANE, has proven a true sensation, well in advance of its official arrival at multi-format radio outlets in early August. The track has already received nearly a quarter of a million plays on Danity KaneÂ’s official MySpace page.
Danity Kane will debut their video for ‘Show Stopper’ on August 4th on MTVÂ’s Making The Video. The girls will then appear on MTVÂ’s TRL on August 7th and on Sucker Free on MTV on August 8th. DANITY KANE will also be featured on The Leak on MTV Jams and MTV Hits the week of August 15th.

Biggest Misconception: It’s not necessary a misconception, but it’s not the full story. I’m a bit of a workaholic. I just love what I do. Also, I’m not the most athletic, but I am a dancer.
Oh! And I curse a lot. “Me too,” says Aubrey.

Why D. Woods? Changing my name was my choice. It’s to brand myself and make my name memorable. No one could spell or say my name right. Plus, with quick introductions it’s easier to say D. Woods than Wanita Denise Woodgett.
If you had to gain 30 pounds, what would you eat? I would take a soul food restaurant tour. Maybe start in ATL, then make my way to New Orleans and go wherever Dawn takes me.
What makes you a show stopper? My drive

Age: 22
In High School I Was: On the bowling team and homecoming queen
Biggest Misconception: The show’s been accurate. I don’t think people really got to know me though. The girls think I’m funny, but I don’t think so. And I think Diddy doesn’t get me some times. I give him looks. I’m the looker in the group.
Favorite Flick: “Coming to America”

What makes you a show stopper? I’d say my passion for this whole situation. I have a lot of heart for what I do. My butt isn’t bad either.
Tatts & Piercings: I have a couple of piercings and tattoos. The one on my back hurt the most. I designed it. It’s a moon going down and the sun coming up. It represents my name, Dawn.
My nose piercing hurt the most. My tongue piercing didn’t hurt. It healed very well.

Age: 26
In High School I Was: I wasn’t in the popular crowd. I made friends with everybody.
Biggest Misconception: I’m not shy. I just know when to be quiet. I’m professional and focused. Plus, with the show and having cameras in your face, I tried to be more reserved. The show really didn’t give me any personality what so ever.
